Roger Conard, M.A.Ed.
Teaching is a second career as I have spent 35 years as a self-employed professional photographer. Working with company presidents, engineers, janitors, designers, and many others in various industries, I have learned perseverance alone is omnipotent for success in life. As a father of four, one with special needs, I have the experience to help all students succeed beyond their perceived abilities. I possess a Master’s degree in Secondary Education, a Preliminary Special Education credential, and clear credentials for foundational math and photography. Currently, I am completing a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership and Administration.
Preparing me for teaching is my 20 plus years experiences with the Boy Scouts of America, serving or having served as a District Committee Leader Trainer, Troop Committee Chairperson, Scoutmaster, and Assistant Scoutmaster. The qualities I bring into the classroom are professionalism, humor, and a desire to see learners succeed via their personalized learning goals.
